Rodri will join Atletico Madrid. Atletico Madrid have agreed a deal with Villarreal to sign Spain midfielder Rodri on a five-year contract. The 21-year-old graduated from the Atletico academy before joining Villarreal in 2015 and last season he made 47 appearances for the Yellow Submarine, scoring once. A statement published on Atletico's official website on Thursday said Rodri would officially return to Madrid on July 1.
