The Serie A window, like most in Europe, had historically closed on the final day of August, which meant clubs were able to make deals after the season had started. English Football League clubs voted last month to bring forward its deadline, and now leagues in Italy have followed suit, with clubs now permitted to make transactions up until Aug. 18.
