The agitators exploded projectiles and shot programmed attack rifles to pick up passage to the region police central command in southern Pulwama locale which additionally houses groups of a few officers, chief general of police S P Vaid said.
One policeman was murdered in the assault, and three CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) troopers were harmed," Vaid told AFP.
"We are clearing the families from that point," he said.
